Tom Harris Community Endowment Fund
Tom Harris generously supported our community through giving to minor sports, the United Way, the Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation, Vancouver Island University, and many other local organizations.

Tom also gave generously with his time, volunteering on multiple boards and committees across our community, including serving on the Nanaimo Foundation Board of Directors for more than 16 years.

In 2014, Tom created an endowment fund at the Nanaimo Foundation.

Through the Tom Harris Community Endowment Fund, Tom’s initial gift of $30,000, and all future contributions to the Tom Harris Community Endowment Fund, will grow in perpetuity. The income from the endowment fund will support a variety of local charitable causes annually.

This legacy for Tom will continue his tradition of giving back, doing great things for many needs in Nanaimo.
